Wisdom Meets Passion is written by men from two generations, Dan Miller and his son, Jarad, who hold vastly different perspectives on life. However, their concepts are compatible and encourage readers to live excellent lives instead of a mediocre existence. The authors want people from several generations to find specific purposes that will fill them with enthusiasm for their work and allow them to make the world a better place.

Miller shows that a business, making money, following God and being unique fit together. He knows that the present US college system is broken and not meeting the needs of many young people. His directions for life-long, self-directed learning are possible, exciting and rewarding. The American Dream may be dead, as well as focused on too many non-essentials. Also, people must prepare for changes in order to survive.

Jarad explains what Africa needs to reduce poverty. He knows that many non-profits and NGO’s fail to accomplish what they intend because they don’t really understand the Africans, their needs and their possibilities.

Wisdom Meets Passion is well-written, engaging to read and motivating.

About samcivy

I read my first book a week after beginning first grade and haven't slowed down in seventy years. My system often wakes me in the night so I keep books on a chair in the bathroom and do a LOT of reading. I'm a free-lance writer/editor and review books for various authors as well as Thomas Nelson Publishers and Amazon.com. I will soon be posting books for a blog tour by KathyWillis.com, a book promoter.
