Andy Andrews combines fantasy with reality that will intrigue readers. We meet David Pinder a time traveler who is featured in other volumes by Andrews.

Pinder is told by the angel Gabriel the world has headed the wrong way for many generations and is about to be annihilated by God, having stretched the Almighty’s patience too far. As Pinder heads up a conference to find an answer he meets old friends and new, real historical personalities. Their quest– to forestall the disaster facing all humanity.

Gabriel gives one last chance to seven historical figures chosen from a large gathering of leaders from every age. They must discuss and decide on the two-word answer that will people change the world. The seven have only five chances to discover those two words. As each attempt at the solution proves wrong, suspense builds. Time is running out for the world.

The final answer almost sounds simplistic and surely would not be my choice. However, if every human being in the world followed this two word command, life on earth, for better or worse, would change.

Andrews has written at least ten other books. His Butterfly Affect, a gift book, is especially beautiful. Some Butterfly Affect characters reappear in The Final Summit.

About samcivy

I read my first book a week after beginning first grade and haven't slowed down in seventy years. My system often wakes me in the night so I keep books on a chair in the bathroom and do a LOT of reading. I'm a free-lance writer/editor and review books for various authors as well as Thomas Nelson Publishers and Amazon.com. I will soon be posting books for a blog tour by KathyWillis.com, a book promoter.
