This story gives cool hints that help us believe in two simultaneous but different paths for our human lives, based on our choices. Thus the supernatural events of the story sound completely plausible and intriguing. The excellent writing keeps readers involved in the tale.

As Micah Taylor explores a huge house built for him by an uncle he never knew, new rooms appear and disappear. So do parts of his life in Seattle as a wealthy business leader. His desire for a renewed relationship with God also grows. The freedom God offers Micah will enthrall readers and encourage them to gain the same joy and peace.

Micah is faced with difficult choices as he learns to understand God and His plans for his life. Like all of us, sometimes he fails to choose rightly and suffers the consequences.  And sometimes he succeeds in obeying and reaping the wonderful results of right choices.

Rooms is an exciting  novel about which it’s difficult to say enough good things. His first novel, James L. Rubart’s Rooms  took the Fiction: Visionary category for “Best Books 2011” Awards from USA Book News and is a widely acclaimed novel.

Rooms also won an RT Book Reviews “Reviewers’ Choice Award.”

About samcivy

I read my first book a week after beginning first grade and haven't slowed down in seventy years. My system often wakes me in the night so I keep books on a chair in the bathroom and do a LOT of reading. I'm a free-lance writer/editor and review books for various authors as well as Thomas Nelson Publishers and I will soon be posting books for a blog tour by, a book promoter.
