Father’s Day Idea. Dads Need Sleep, too.

FATHERS DAY – June 19th

Do Dads Ever Sleep?

Considering the pace of our modern world—dads probably shouldn’t sleep. Who’s got time?

• Unpaid bills.
• Undone tasks.
• Unrealistic deadlines.
• Untimely interruptions.

Even when fathers prepare for rest there are too many thoughts racing through a dad’s mind:

• Unkept promises.
• Unfamiliar circumstances.
• Unpredictable people.
• Unforgotten failures.

Sometimes in sleepless desperation dads can feel like throwing in the towel—wondering if they will ever be good enough to meet the challenge of living in our nanosecond culture…. For more information, please scroll down for a review of Dr. Page’s book.

About samcivy

I read my first book a week after beginning first grade and haven't slowed down in seventy years. My system often wakes me in the night so I keep books on a chair in the bathroom and do a LOT of reading. I'm a free-lance writer/editor and review books for various authors as well as Thomas Nelson Publishers and Amazon.com. I will soon be posting books for a blog tour by KathyWillis.com, a book promoter.

This year on Father’s Day, I’m making it Father’s week for my husband. All week I will take over the duties that he normally does (except actually going to his job, I feel like my job and his wouldn’t appreciate it). But I will be cooking, paying bills, driving when we go out, and grocery food shopping
